Kingfisher Airlines are to offer their first scheduled service between the UK and India and have appointed their first UK and Ireland General Manager.

Currently the group are awaiting regulatory approval in order to merge with their partner Air Deccan in order to provide daily services from both the UK and USA to India.

Kingfisher Airlines and Air Deccan at present run 550 domestic flights every day and control 30% of the Indian flight market and have several new aircraft on order.
