Celebrity Cruises Announce New Ports

Celebrity Cruises have announced that Harwich and Southampton will feature as part of their 2009 cruise programme.

Summer 2008 will see five cruise ships being used whilst operating from six homeports, two of the ships will be brand new as well - these being the Celebrity Equinox and Solstice.

This years departures are scheduled to be from Harwich, Southampton, Barcelona, Venice and Rome. In total the cruise ships will be visiting 76 ports in 29 countries with several overnight stops also planned.

The group will be running the cruise ship Constellation from Harwich to Northern Europe, Equinox will run from Southampton, Century and Summit will sail from Barcelona, Equinox and Solstice from Rome and Summit from Venice.
