65 Year Old Woman Gains Pilots Licence
Thursday 20th March 2008A 65 year old office worker has gained her pilots licence after being insipred by the Red Arrows. It is believed that she is the oldest woman in the UK to gain a pilots licence.

Anne Poole passed the final part of her licence test recently in a Piper PA38 Tomahawk light aircraft after spending three years training at Inverness Airport. Upon passing the said she was "delighted" that hse had achieved a lifelong ambition and continued, "It has taken three years, and I'm sure many young people would do it much quicker, but I am delighted to get there."
