Heathrow Airport Proposes Drop-Off Fee

Any person dropping off a passenger at Heathrow could be facing a one-off charge of £20 that would fund the new terminal six building.

In addition to the drop-off charge there are also plans afoot for a congestion charge of £3 for any heavy goods vehicles using airport perimeter roads and the M4. It appears from some leaked proposals that BAA are aiming to raise over £130 million for airport expansion.
