Children Discovered With Cocaine Strapped To Their Legs At Heathrow
Thursday 13th March 2008Customs officials were stunned to discover two children with around £675,000 worth of cocaine strapped to their legs at Heathrow Airport.
Elisa Vazquez, aged 40 has been charged with attempting to smuggle cocaine into the UK using the children, whilst the children have been placed in the care of social services.
The customs personnel at Heathrow stopped Vazquez and the two children yesterday lunchtime when they arrived on a British Airways flight at lunchtime. We will keep you updated as developments occur with this story.
