New Rail Link For Birmingham International Airport

A new rail service is being planned that will link Shropshire and Birmingham International Airport. Arriva Trains who are proposing this new service have also said that they would like to expand their current operations from Aberystwyth and Chester as well.

The new service will need approval from the Office of Rail Regulation however if it goes ahead then it is scheduled to begin in December 2008.

A spokesperon for Arriva Trains said that "we are looking into it as it's something we want to do and have openly talked to rail groups about it."
