Liverpool Airport To Benefit From Art Show
Wednesday 27th February 2008Any passengers visiting Liverpool John Lennon Airport in 2008 will be able to see the Tate Liverpool's Turner Prize 2007 exhibition as they go about their business at the airport.
The exhibition named the 'Taxi Project' is a black Hackney cab with video screens and displaying peoples opinions of Liverpool and the various events that go on in the city.
Managing director Neil Pakey said "We do hope passengers take the opportunity to arrive at the airport early to enjoy the exhibits on display," and Andrea Nixon who is the executive director of Tate Liverpool said "we are delighted that the taxi has moved to the Liverpool John Lennon Airport, following its spell at Tate Liverpool.
