Luton Airport Link Road Still Far From Completion

Construction at the East Luton Corridor works where workers are busy creating a dual carriageway between Luton Airport and the M1 was due to be completed by the end of March however various problems now mean that the job is due to finish in late 2008.
A council spokesman said: "The council is currently working with the contractor to develop a programme that best meets the needs of all concerned and enables the project to be opened for safe public use as soon as possible. We cannot be any more specific at the moment about the date for completion."
