British Airways Performs Badly In Luggage League Table

In a survey conducted by looking at European Airlines British Airways has emerged as the second worst culprit when it comes to loosing passengers baggage.

In total in 2007 statistics show that 26.5 pieces of luggage were delayed for every 1,000 passengers that travelled. This is up compared to 23 pieces of luggage for every 1,000 passengers in 2006. The only airline that has registered as worse than British Airways was TAP Air Portugal. Overall with all European Airlines there has been a rise in the number of items of passenger luggage that have been lost.
