Norwich Airport Suspend Car Park Drop-Off Fee

Wednesday 13th February 2008

A drop-off fee that was introduced by Norwich Airport for drivers dropping off and picking up passengers has been removed only one day after it was introduced.

The £1.90 drop-off fee was introduced after NCP the parking operator scrapped the previous arrangement which permitted 15 minutes of free parking for dropping off passengers.

It has been announced that the £1.90 fee was removed after a host of complaints from passengers after the change was made proving that Norwich Airport do listen to their passengers.

The new arrangements will not simply reverse back to the previous arrangement however will offer 5 minutes free parking for dropping off and then charge 50p for anything beyond five minutes and up to fifteen minutes. Anyone staying longer than that will be charged £1.50.
