Manchester Airport Closes Runway

Manchester Airport has closed one of its two runways in order for maintenance work to be carried out. The airport has confirmed that the work was scheduled to take place and the runway will be closed until the 29th of February. This means that only a single runway will be in operation at the airport however no delays are expected.

The reasons for this taking place now is that February is traditionally one of the less busy months at the airport meaning that as little disruption as possible will be caused by the work.
