Ryanair Warns Of Profit Dips Ahead
Monday 4th February 2008Low-cost airline Ryanair have announced that their profits could be as much as half due to rising fuel costs and a weak pound.
The warning was issued as a result of net profit being down 27% from October to December. This was the first drop the airline had encountered for a year. The Chief Executive Michael O'Leary warned of a possible "perfect storm" ahead of them.
Experts have also warned that other airlines that reply on UK flight routes would also be experiencing similar problems in the months ahead.
