The Worlds Most Expensive Flight Ticket

Friday 1st February 2008

You think your airline ticket was expensive? How about over £100,000 for a ticket on an aircraft? What could make it so expensive, well it has an unusual destination - space.

Craig Burkinshaw the Managing Director of Audley Travel has set himself up to become one of the first space tourists on Richard Branson's Spaceship Two. However as we have stated the price is high currently at £100,640 but Craig reckons it is worth every penny and will occur in the next three years.

His ticket to space was booked in New York last week at the spaceships launch and Craig will be one of the lucky first passengers booking himself a place in space history.
