Glasgow Airport Hero Leaves Hospital
Wednesday 23rd January 2008Stephen Clarkson a hero of the Glasgow terror attacks who suffered a brain haemorrhage has finally left hospital after emergency surgery to save his life.
The brave airport worker spoke about his ordeal saying "I feel much better. I didn’t think I would see the day that I was walking out of here because I thought I was going to die. I thought it was all over.”
Mr. Clarkson has received bravery awards from Gordon Brown and Alex Salmond commending his actions in tackling the terrorist bomber Kafeel Ahmed who crashed a Land Rover into the Glasgow Airport terminal building on June the 30th 2007.
