Woman Raped At Heathrow Airport

A young 19-year old woman was raped on Sunday the 9th of January at Heathrow Airport Police has revealed. The young woman was not able to get on the bus that arrived at 12.45 as it was full so decided to wait for the next one. Apparently after this she fell asleep in the bus terminal.

According to reports she was woken up at 5.00am by a man that Police describe as 'a black man with long hair.' Apparently the victim went to the disabled toilets nearby however was followed by the man and raped in there.

Police are appealing for witnesses and Det Con Alan Roffey, of Heathrow CID said, "You may have seen what you took to be a young couple there - a white woman of 19 years and a black man with long afro-hair. In fact the attention the woman was receiving from the man was unwarranted. Whether you saw anything suspicious or not, please contact us so we can build up a picture of how many people were in the station at the time."
