Environmental Activists Chain Themselves To Doors Of Private Jet Group

Environmental activists have chained themselves to the doors of a private jet firm at Edinburgh Airport. The activists who are part of an organisation called Plane Stupid Scotland aimed to stop people boarding their private jets.

One of the campaigners had the following to say about the protest, "It is not our intention to single out Greer Aviation as a company, but to make a wider point to highlight the fact that private jet use is incompatible with our duties to protect the planet from climate change."

Accoring to BAA the protest did not disrupt flights and has now been ended.
