Manchester Airport Engineers Face Job Cuts
Friday 11th January 2008Approximately 30 engineers at Manchester Airport are facing redundancy after job cuts were announced at the airport. Even if some staff remain unions have stated that they will face different job descriptions with a possible alteration of the shifts they work.
The engineers have stated that they make seek a ballot on possible industrial action if talks do not produce anything after 90 days.
This announcement of more job cuts has occured after 180 baggage handlers at the airport were told they are facing redundancy.
