British Muslim Jailed For Four Years On Terrorism Charges
Friday 11th January 2008Sohail Qureshi, a British Muslim who was accused of emailing the Heathrow 'lyrical terrorist' about how to penetrate Heathrow security services has been jailed for four and a half years.
Qureshi who we reported on earlier this week is the first person to be convicted under the new legislation concerning the preparation of terrorist acts.
Qureshi by his own admission has been linked strongly with Al-Qaeda since the mid-1990's and pleded guilty to the charges he was facing.
