According to Aberdeen Airport one in three flights made at the airport involve Kiss and Fly. What is Kiss and fly and why do Aberdeen Airport describe it as 'least desirable?'

Kiss and Fly describes a flight where two or more passengers go to an airport to say farewell to someone who is leaving on a flight. According to Aberdeen Airport that then means the people saying farewell then leave the airport creating more journeys than if they were all to get on the flight.
