Passenger Numbers Up At London City Airport
Thursday 10th January 2008Passenger numbers are up at London City Airport by 23% compared with last year.
In addition to this the airport is embarking on an ambitious expansion plan by spending £30million constructing four new aircraft parking stands as well as development taking place in the departure lounge. Both of these projects are due to be completed in Spring 2008.
As of that Spring the airport will cater for 11 airlines that will be flying to 33 destinations. London City Airport has also applied for a flight movement increase to take them to 120,000 annually which would create an extra 1,000 jobs at the London Airport.
