Bmi Regional Named Most Punctual
Thursday 10th January 2008The airline BMI Regional is toasting itself after being named the most punctual airline for the first nine months of 2007.
The CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) published the data which showed that 91% of all flghts by the airline took off within 15 minutes of scheduled times in this period.
Any delays that were experienced were, on average, only six minutes long according to the statistics. It is worthy of note that Bmi Regional were also named the most punctual airline overall in 2005 and 2006.
On hearing the news the Managing Director of Bmi Regional Stewart Adams had the following to say, "Punctuality is a top priority for the business traveller and is something we constantly strive for. It is the cornerstone of our success. Our customers have come to know and expect timely arrivals and departures and reliability as standard."
