Budget Airlines And Hidden Costs
Friday 4th January 2008When looking to fly with a budget airline the initial costs may be very attractive. We all know that hidden costs can be included when flying with a budget airline, however despite being required by law to advertise all taxes and charges in headline advertisments Holiday Which? the consumer reviewing group claim that passengers are still being hit with unexpected charges.
A survey carried out by the group identified Ryanair as the worst offender as on one occasion passengers were charged £4 to use the check-in desk as well as £20 to check-in a bag. Credit card charges were also cited as a reason for increased charges compared to the advertised price.
