Liverpool John Lennon airport is to see two more routes introduced, connecting it to Aberdeen and Southampton airport in July.
Three daily flights from Humberside-based Eastern Airways will operate from Monday to Friday, starting on July 6.
Eastern Airways was formed over 12 years ago, initially serving North Sea oil and gas industry with flights up the east coast of England. The airline now operates more than 800 flights a week from 16 airports including Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, East Midlands, Isle of Man, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, Norwich, Oslo, Stavanger, Stornoway and Wick.
Chief operating officer, Chris Holliday, explains how the airline is looking to attract business travellers: "By offering three flights each weekday, business travellers will be able to spend a day in Aberdeenshire or in the south of England without the need for overnight accommodation."
Neil Pakey, deputy chief executive of Liverpool JLA owner Peel Airports, said: "These two new domestic routes make an important addition to the airport's list of destinations."
Eastern Airways passengers will have access to fast track security channels at Liverpool, Aberdeen and Southampton airports as well as a late (30 minute) check-in deadline before departure.
