Bomb Scare Causes Chaos At Edinburgh Airport
Thursday 27th December 2007
A bomb scare on an aircraft due to an extra bag in the baggage hold has caused major problems at Edinburgh Airport on Christmas Eve - the airports busiest year.
The extra bag was discovered during the pre-flight checks that are a routine part of commercial flying. It took some time to locate the bag and put it on the correct flight which then allowed the airport to get back to normal operations.
