Ryanair open new routes from East
Midlands to Reus and Palma

Ryanair plan to open two new routes from East Midlands Airport to Reus and Palma this July.

Flights from the Leicestershire airport will operate three times a week.

The budget airline will be ceasing flights from East Midlands to Paris (Beauvais) from July in order to make way for new routes.

Accompanying the launch is the usual Ryanair ticket sale which sees the promotion of one million seats for £10 one-way when travelling across Europe in April, May and June.

The closure of scheduled flights to and from Paris between June 3 and June 10 will allow the improvement of landing systems and ensure the safety of planes landing in bad weather.

Ryanair issued an apology for the closure but said: "These essential upgrade works will benefit all passengers in the long-term and will help to ensure that Ryanair passengers suffer fewer adverse weather related disruptions on flights to/from Paris (Beauvais)."

All affected passengers will be emailed and offered alternative flights or a full refund.
