British Airways plane suffers hard landing
A British Airways flight was subject to a 'hard landing' at London City Airport last Friday (13th February).
The plane, which was returning from Amsterdam with 71 total passengers and crew on board, suffered damage to its nose landing gear during touch-down, injuring at least one person.
Emergency Chutes were used to evacuate the plane and one passenger was taken to hospital.
The Airport was closed after the incident, causing minor delays on Saturday but returning to normal on the Sunday.
A BA spokesman said: "We are co-operating with the Accident Investigation Board who are investigating the incident. We continue to offer support to the passengers and crew who were involved."
