Manchester Airport launches Online Game to promote Retail Offer

Manchester Airport is launching a new viral game in order to promote its new shopping facilities.

The transport hub has received an £80m investment which it is using to increase awareness of its champagne, perfume and electronics products.

Swindon's Inbox Digital have been called upon to create this new game, which offers a family holiday to Los Angeles as the main prize.

The game is being hosted on the airport's main site as well as travel and regional portals, with ad campaigns employed on Facebook to entice people in.

Patrick Alexander, head of retail marketing and brand at Manchester Airport, said: "This is only our second viral campaign, it's still very new to us."

“But so far we're seeing it allows us to reach an audience we couldn't before."
