Newcastle International Airport has reduced the parking charges at it's pick-up and drop-off site in order to ease the financial strain customers are feeling with the current economic climate.
20 minute, 30 minute and 45 minute tariffs have all been reduced by at least a pound.
The business development manager at Newcastle International, George Nesbitt, said: "Our aim is to provide more affordable parking for customers who wish to park and visit the airport terminal to meet or greet passengers."
I hope our customers will agree that the price reductions are a welcome move and indicate that we listen to customers' views and take their feedback seriously."
"We are also pleased to have reduced our parking charges at a time when customers are feeling increasing financial pressures in the current economic climate.
"Our car park revenue continues to be used to help us attract new airlines and routes and to invest in upgrading our facilities for the benefit of passengers."
