Father Christmas arrives at Southampton Airport in Style

To the joy of children everywhere, Father Christmas arrived early last week. Dispensing with the traditional sleigh, he flew into Southampton Airport to help Hampshire with their Christmas preparations.

With the arrival of Santa, the seasonal celebrations begun with a bang after Christmas lights were turned on and fireworks illuminated the sky.

Father Christmas led the parade through town, starting at Market Street at 5:30pm and traveling through town.

An ice rink was set up with a rodeo reindeer ride and a climbing wall to keep the community entertained. Also, the CK Gospel Choir from London arrived to provide festive live music.
