Finding Your Car Is No Longer A Problem At Heathrow

Have you ever arrived back from holiday and not been able to remember where you left your car? Well if so then Heathrow Airport may have the answer for you with their new registration plate technology to be implemented in Terminal 5.

The system works by taking a photograph of your cars registration number as you enter the car park. As you park several other cameras record your plate once again locating the exact place you have parked.

When ypu arrive back at the car park you can insert your ticket into the 'Car Finder' machine which will then search for your car and disaply on a large screen its exact location.

In addition to this technology you can also be assisted to find an empty space when you arrive, Ligts above car parkig spaes will indicate green or red as you look for a space indicating where there is a free bay saving you having to look and take your eyes offthe road in front of you which can be a hazard.
