Jet2.com have announced that there is to be a direct route from Leeds Bradford Airport to Newquay in Cornwall that will be operating in the summer of 2009.
You can get a flight for just £24.99 for a one-way ticket that includes taxes. The flight is only 70 minutes long and will leave Leeds Bradford Airport twice every week fropm the 24th of May 2009.
The boss of Jet2.com Philip Meeson has spoken about the launch of the new service and said;
"Newquay is the great British holiday destination ideal for families, surfers and lovers of first class regional food who can resist a clotted cream tea, a real Cornish pasty or a slap up meal at one of Rick Steins restaurants in Padstow? The launch of this direct route will make the town even more accessible to people living in the north. We are confident that it will be an extremely successful addition to our summer schedule.
