Exeter Airport Announce Record Month
Tuesday 9th September 2008Exeter Airport have announced a record month for passenger fingers in August with 114,600 passengers making their way through the airport. This has meant that it has been the busiest month the airport has seen in the 70 years it has been operating.
There has been a 1% year to year increase in passenger numbers as well as a 3% rise in charter route traffic. Analysis of the results has seen that the Canary Islands and Balearics had the most visitors with the most popular destinations seeming to be Majorca, Tenerife, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria.
