QM2 To Sail On New World Cruise

In January 2010 the Queen Mary 2 will set sail on a brand new world cruise.

This will see the ship embark on a 101 day cruise named the 'Royal Route of Exploration' and will set sail from Southampton Port. In total the cruise will see the ship visit 19 ports including visits to Shanghai and Phuket and will also include its first ever visit to South Africa. Passengers lucky enough to be on board will also be able to visit Cape Town, Sydney and Hong Kong on overnight stays as part of the cruise package.

January 2010 will also see the Queen Victoria set sail on its 'Voyage of Discovery' cruise which will run for a total of 99 days. It will visit Dubai, Hong Kong and Sydney for overnight stays. Passengers will not have to take part in the entire cruise however if there is a specific portion they wish to experience, as they may book just a part of the cruise if there is a specific area of the world that they wish to visit.
