Manchester Airport Buses To Benefit From Windows XP-Based Computers
Friday 29th August 2008
Air-side buses at Manchester Airport are to benefit from Windows XP-based computers as the airport attempts to improve the service they provide.
The new computers will be used for sending data to the main airport with information such as the location and the time of each individual bus as well as passenger information. The data will be streamed to the airport via a 3G wireless link and will assist them in ensuring they can prove that the service level agreements they have with airlines at Manchester Airport have been met.
