Bmi Air Stewardess Charged With Being Drunk On Duty

A Bmi air stewardess who has appeared in court on charges that she drunk alcohol before working onboard an aircraft has had her case suspended until late August.
The case has been suspended after her solicitor informed the court that he would need more time to look into her case as he had never dealt with anything like it before. MonikaLukomska, 24 is alleged to have worked onboard a Bmi flight whilst over the legal drink-drive limit.
The 24 year old air stewardess has been charged in relation to performing her duties whilst under the influence of alcohol and he actions in contrary to the Railways and Transport Safety Act 2003 Section 93 (1) after it is alleged she was found with 57 microgrammes of alcohol in her breathe, with the legal drink drive limit being 35 microgrammes per 100ml of breathe.
