Cardiff Airport Passport Error Causes Staff Embarrasment

Staff at Cardiff Airport have been left embarrased after a mistake at the security area allowed a woman flying to the Canary Islands to go on holiday using her husbands passport.

Andrea Cole, 43 took her husbands passport by mistake and passed through two sets of passport checking without any security staff noticing such an obvious issue with her passport. Mrs Cole apparently only realised her mistake when she had boarded her flight but by then she had also passed through immigration checks without staff noticing her passport problem.

This incident is the second in just a few days after the Llanishen family were given incorrect boarding passes at the airport and ended up flying to the wrong country.
