Steam Railtours
Classic restored steam locomotives take you on a trip around one of Europe's leading steel producing areas with professional guides and demonstrations of steel making. Learn about iron and steel production in the Scunthorpe area and how this process has changed over the years. You will find this an excellent and interesting experience and gives an insight into the area that many are simply not aware of. Please note all places on trips must be pre-booked due to limited spaces.

Hull and East Riding Museum
Hull and East Riding Museum contains a range of interesting displays to illustrate the history of the region including dinosaur bones, Bronze Age artefacts and Middle Age treasures. Within the museum you will find and Iron Age Village reconstruction as well as a Roman Bath. This visit is an interesting and educational insight into history and the importance of the local area in it. With many developments since the 1980's the museum is currently at its best ever so why not learn about the local area if you have a few hours spare, you are sure not to be disappointed at the Hull and East Riding Museum.
