Arrival Procedure
When you arrive at Airparks Glasgow, please park in the arrivals bay, unload your luggage and proceed to check-in. Airparks Glasgow operate a self park operation, therefore please park your car as indicated by our reception staff. It is okay for passengers to wait in the reception area. Once you have parked your car, walk back to the reception to rejoin your passengers and luggage. You can then take one of our comfortable transfer buses to the airport.
Departure Procedure
Just catch the transfer bus back to Airparks, then go to reception to get an exit ticket. You`ll need to scan your ticket at the barrier to get out. If you return earlier than planned, please contact the car park to ensure your car is ready for collection.
Security
The compound has 24-hour CCTV, a high perimeter fence and floodlighting and is regularly patrolled by staff. This car park has been awarded the Park Mark, a national security award accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers. Before being awarded the Park Mark, car parks have to be inspected by the police. They have to have modern security measures, such as alarms and CCTV, and be clean and well-lit. Car parks which have been awarded the Park Mark are regularly reinspected by the police.
Insurance
Parking is always at the vehicle owner`s own risk.
Notes
We recommend that you give yourself 40 minutes to park your car and transfer to the airport. Airparks Glasgow has ladies` and mens` loos, baby changing facilities and disabled toilets. You can also purchase refreshments from the reception waiting area. If you come back to a flat battery, the car park will be happy to jump start your car, free of charge. Skis, bikes, surfboards, canoes and other large objects that won`t fit into the luggage racks can`t be carried on Airparks buses. If you are bringing large items with you, we suggest you drop them off at the airport before you park your car. Remember to check with your airline that you will be able to take them on the plane.
