Arrival Procedure

Take a ticket from the barrier and follow the signs to the appropriate area and park your car. Proceed to a bus stop and await a bus to transfer you to the south terminal.

Departure Procedure

On return, transfer buses will now pick up passengers from the South Terminal on the UPPER forecourt. After transfering back to the car park, providing your booking reference is printed on your entry ticket, drive to the exit barriers, insert your entry ticket and depart. Should the word 'Cashier' and NOT your booking reference appear on the entry ticket, park outside the exit office and exchange your entry ticket and email confirmation (or quote booking reference) for an exit ticket.

Security

Parking Express hold the Secured Car Parks Award, initiated by the Association of Chief Police Officers, and is protected by security fencing, floodlights, remote cameras and regular patrols by staff and Sussex Police. This car park has been awarded the Park Mark for safer parking. The Park Mark means that you are parking in an area that has been vetted by the police to make sure that the site has had measures put in place to create a safe environment. Park Mark awarded parking areas are run by responsible operators who are concerned with your safety and the safety of your vehicle.

Transfers run every 7-10 minutes, 24hrs a day, taking just 2-4 minutes to the south terminal only. Exclusive to BAA car parks - you are delivered direct to the upper forecourt ready for your departure and picked up again from the upper forecourt on your arrival. This ensures easy access to check in on departure and swift access to transfers on your return.

Car Park indemnifies customers for damage resulting from any proven act or negligence on part of its servants or agents.

Please note that parking charges are calculated in periods of 24 hours from the time you arrive at the car park until the time you depart. If your actual stay is longer than your booked stay, you will be charged extras on departure at the car park 's standard daily rate. Please note this car park does not accept trailers or motorhomes. No refund will be issued for part used stays and any additional time will be charged at the local gate rate.

Park Mark Safer Parking Scheme

An initiative of the Association of Chief Police Officers aimed at reducing crime and the fear of crime in parking facilities.

Safer Parking status, Park Mark®, is awarded to parking facilities that have met the requirements of a risk assessment conducted by the Police.

These requirements mean the parking operator has put in place measures that help to deter criminal activity and anti-social behaviour, thereby doing everything they can to prevent crime and reduce the fear of crime in their parking facility.

For customers, using a Park Mark® Safer Parking facility means that the area has been vetted by the Police and has measures in place to create a safe environment.

The International Organization of Standardization, (ISO) is a worldwide organization that develops many different kinds of Standards.

ISO 9001 is a series of documents that define requirements for the Quality Management System Standard. ISO 9001 is one of the documents in this set; it contains the actual requirements an organization must be in compliance with to become ISO 9001 Registered.

ISO 9001:2000 is the current version of the Standard. It was revised in the year 2000. Past versions of ISO 9000 included ISO 9002 and ISO 2003, but those are no longer in use. Companies are now only Registered to ISO 9001.
