Local Attractions at Gatwick

Gatwick Aviation Museum

Located very close to Gatwick Airport is the Gatwick Aviation Museum. Featuring classic aircraft such as the English Electric Lightning, Hawker Harrier and Gloster Meteor, the museum fields an impressive collection of over 20 aircraft from various eras in aviation.

There are no specialist disabled facilities at the museum however the outside exhibits are on flat ground and although not all areas of the museum are possible for wheelchairs most will be suitable.

Entry Prices: adults: £3.50, children (5-16): £2.50

All proceeds go to the museum and assist in keeping the aircraft in good condition. Annual membership is available at a cost of £13 which gives entry to the museum for one year, with members receive regular newsletters and updates.

Opening times: 2, 9, 23 September, 7 October (10am - 4pm), if you wish to visit outside of these dates then the museum asks that you contact them before visiting. This is to enable the owner to arrange for someone to show you around the aircraft and exhibits.
