Arrival Procedure

To get to Airparks East Midlands turn into Donington Park, go through the security gate and Airparks is located 180 metres on the left (signposted). Upon your arrival at Airparks, enter the site through the barrier and drive to the end of the marked arrival lanes. Go to reception and hand in your printed confirmation (or quote booking reference) and your car keys and your car will be parked for you whilst you transfer to the terminal. Your car will be checked by our staff and timed digital photographs will be taken of any marks or damage.

Departure Procedure

On return, simply wait where you were dropped off and our 20 minute bus service will transfer you back to the car park.

Security

Offering award-winning security. Airparks Services are Holders of the Park Mark Award initiated by the Association of Chief Police Officers. ISO 9001 standard of quality assurance. Fenced and floodlit site with 24 hour patrols and CCTV.

Insurance

Parking is always at the vehicle owner`s own risk.

Notes

Airparks is unable to carry bikes, surfboards, canoes or other large objects that will not fit into the luggage racks on its buses. If you are bringing large items with you we suggest you drop them off at the airport before parking your car. Remember to check beforehand that your airline will accept them for carriage. If your actual stay is longer than your booked stay, you will be charged extra on departure at the car park`s standard daily rate. No refund will be issued for part used stays and any additional time will be charged at the local gate rate. Here is the Donington Park 2009 calendar. Please be aware that when events are taking place, traffic in this area is likely to be heavier and therefore we suggest leaving more time for your journey:

Park Mark Safer Parking Scheme

An initiative of the Association of Chief Police Officers aimed at reducing crime and the fear of crime in parking facilities.

Safer Parking status, Park Mark®, is awarded to parking facilities that have met the requirements of a risk assessment conducted by the Police.

These requirements mean the parking operator has put in place measures that help to deter criminal activity and anti-social behaviour, thereby doing everything they can to prevent crime and reduce the fear of crime in their parking facility.

For customers, using a Park Mark® Safer Parking facility means that the area has been vetted by the Police and has measures in place to create a safe environment.

The International Organization of Standardization, (ISO) is a worldwide organization that develops many different kinds of Standards.

ISO 9001 is a series of documents that define requirements for the Quality Management System Standard. ISO 9001 is one of the documents in this set; it contains the actual requirements an organization must be in compliance with to become ISO 9001 Registered.

ISO 9001:2000 is the current version of the Standard. It was revised in the year 2000. Past versions of ISO 9000 included ISO 9002 and ISO 2003, but those are no longer in use. Companies are now only Registered to ISO 9001.
