I recently had to go to a meeting in Birmingham at the Hilton Metropole. This is quite close to Birmingham Airport so no problems there. I needed to fly on from there so I needed to park at a car park. I chose Airparks as it seemed to tick all the boxes for what i needed.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel but have to comment that the drinks are very expensive. I was also a bit shocked for a hotel of this quality to see gaffer tape holding the carpet down towards the gym area and on the 5th floor where the suites are. Unfortunately there was also damp on the ceilings and walls.

I had no problems at the car park, i dropped my keys and the car was whisked away to be parked. It was also my first time flying from Birmingham Airport, and was i impressed with the layout. I wanted to try out the monorail to the NEC but was it getting short on time.
