Malt Whisky Trail

The famous Scotch Whisky has evolved over more than 500 years to become, what is today, a great pleasure for many people. The oiginal distilleries were to be found in areas rich in good quality ingredients such as golden barley and clear spring water, and many of these can still be found on the Speyside Whisky Trail.

Every distillery to be visited on the tour encompasses its own traditions and welcomes you in its own distinctive way. Visitors are able to sample the product of all these distilleries giving an insight into a centuries old process that still continues to evolve to this day.

There are many different trails to be found on the below Malt Whisky Trail website so why not sample some of Scotlands finest products and be intrigued by the history of one of the worlds most famous beverages.
